The short version: everything you enter in Settle Wallet is stored only on your device. We run no servers, require no account, show no ads, and use no analytics or tracking. We cannot see your data.
Who we are
Settle Wallet is an unofficial personal organiser for people going through the UK immigration process, developed and published by Unsel Studio. It is not a government product, not an identity document and not a legal advice service. Contact: support@unselstudio.app.
What data the app handles
Depending on what you choose to enter, the app can store on your device:
- Profile details: name, optional photo, nationality, date of birth, passport details
- Immigration records: visa route, permission dates, share codes and their expiry dates
- Application records: submission, biometrics, evidence and decision dates, UAN, notes
- Absence records: travel dates, countries, reasons, notes
- Documents: files you attach, their categories, expiry dates and tags
- App preferences: language, theme, reminder and lock settings
Where your data is stored
All of this data is stored locally on your device. Settle Wallet has no backend, no cloud database and no user accounts. We never receive, collect, transmit or sell your data. If you use device-level backups (such as an encrypted iPhone backup), your data may be included in those backups under Apple's terms, controlled by you.
Export and import
You can export all of your data, including document attachments, as a single file from Settings. That file is created on your device and saved wherever you choose. What you do with the export file — and who you share it with — is entirely under your control. Import replaces local records with the contents of an export file you select.
Deleting your data
You can delete all of your data at any time with Settings → Delete my data. Because storage is local, deleting the app from your device also removes your records. We hold no copy that could survive deletion.
Notifications
If you enable reminders (for example for share code or passport expiry), these are local notifications scheduled on your device. No notification content leaves your device.
Face ID / Touch ID
If you enable the app lock, authentication is handled by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework on your device. Settle Wallet never sees or stores your biometric data.
Purchases
The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy applies to payment processing.
Third parties, analytics and ads
Settle Wallet contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs and no trackers. The only external links in the app open official GOV.UK pages in your browser; your use of those pages is governed by GOV.UK's own privacy policy.
Children
Settle Wallet is intended for adults managing their own or their family's immigration records and is not directed at children.
Your rights
Because we do not collect or hold your personal data, rights such as access, rectification and erasure are exercised directly in the app: view your records anytime, edit them, export them, or delete them. If you have any privacy question, email support@unselstudio.app.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles data — for example by adding optional encrypted cloud backup — we will update this policy and note the change in the app's release notes before it takes effect.
