What Settle Wallet does

Is Settle Wallet an official government app?
No. Settle Wallet is an unofficial personal organiser. It is not a government product, not an identity document and not a legal advice service. Your immigration status must always be verified on GOV.UK.
Where is my data stored?
All of your data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers — we do not have servers. You can export your data as a file at any time and delete everything from Settings.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
Use Settings → Export data on your old device to save a Settle Wallet backup file, then choose Import data during setup on your new device and select that file. Document attachments are included in the export.
Does the app tell me when my decision will arrive?
No. The app shows how long you have been waiting and links to official GOV.UK processing time guidance. Processing times are guidance only — a decision may arrive earlier or later, and no app can promise a decision date.
How does pricing work?
Settle Wallet starts with a 7-day full-access trial. After the trial, a one-time lifetime unlock is available — no subscription. Even without unlocking, you can always export your data, delete your data, restore purchases and contact support.
I bought lifetime access on another device. How do I restore it?
Open the unlock screen and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account you used for the original purchase.
Are my share codes safe in the app?
Share codes are stored only on your device. A share code on its own is time-limited and can only be used together with your date of birth through the official GOV.UK checking services.
Can I use the app for legal advice?
No. Settle Wallet organises your own records and links to official guidance, but it does not interpret immigration rules. For advice about your case, check GOV.UK or speak to a regulated immigration adviser or solicitor.
What happens if I delete the app?
Because data is stored locally, deleting the app deletes your records. Export a backup from Settings first if you want to keep them.
