RideMeter Licences

What RideMeter is built from, and the attributions that go with it.

Third-party code

RideMeter contains no third-party code. There are no external packages, no advertising or analytics SDKs, and no vendored libraries. The app is built entirely on frameworks published by Apple as part of iOS and watchOS — among them SwiftUI, SwiftData, Core Location, MapKit, WeatherKit, HealthKit, ActivityKit, AVFoundation and Swift Charts — used under Apple’s developer terms.

Weather data

Weather information in RideMeter is provided by Apple Weather. See Apple’s required attribution and the list of data sources at weatherkit.apple.com/legal-attribution.html.

Maps

Map imagery is provided by Apple Maps and is subject to Apple’s terms. Route lines, markers and the flyover video are drawn by RideMeter on top of that imagery, on your device.

Icons

Interface symbols are from SF Symbols, provided by Apple and used under the SF Symbols licence. They are used only within the app’s interface, as that licence requires.
